These terms describe use of the Rebar Calculator web app and subscriptions provided by Rebar Calculator LLC. By choosing to use the service or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms. If using it for a business, you must have authority to act for that business.
Monthly subscription: payment is collected through Stripe checkout. Review the recurring price and cancellation terms before confirming your purchase.
The service
The app calculates nominal rebar weight in pounds and US short tons and lets eligible signed-in users organize and save job takeoffs, sections, and notes. Features and availability may change. Keep an independent copy of information important to your work.
Subscription pricing and renewal
| Monthly billing period | Price in USD |
|---|---|
| Months 1–12 of the subscription | $9.88 per month |
| Month 13 onward | $10.18 per month |
The subscription renews automatically each month until canceled. The first payment is due when you subscribe; later payments use the authorized payment method. The introductory price lasts 12 monthly billing periods, followed by the disclosed $10.18 monthly price. Any applicable taxes will be shown at checkout before you confirm payment. No free trial is included unless a separate offer expressly states otherwise.
Review the final amount and renewal terms in Stripe checkout before subscribing. If we propose a future price change beyond the schedule above, we will provide notice and obtain any consent required by applicable law before charging the new price.
Cancellation and billing help
To cancel, sign in and open Subscription → Manage billing, then select the cancellation option and confirm it. Cancellation stops future renewal and takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, with access continuing through that period. Retain the cancellation confirmation.
If the portal is unavailable or you cannot cancel, email info@rebarcal.com with your sign-in email and a request to cancel. We will assist with stopping renewal and confirming the effective date. You do not need to provide a reason to request cancellation.
Cancellation by itself does not issue a refund or delete saved jobs. Contact support for a billing error or refund request; requests are reviewed individually. Any refund, cancellation, or other rights required by applicable law remain available.
Accounts and saved jobs
Use accurate account information and protect access to your sign-in account. Only save information you have permission to use. Your job content remains yours; you allow us and our service providers to store and process it as needed to operate and support the app. Saved jobs are associated with the account that created them. Read the privacy policy for information handling and deletion requests.
Checking calculations
Results depend on your inputs and nominal unit weights. One US short ton equals 2,000 pounds. For bent bars, enter the total developed length, including bends and hooks. Waste, lap allowances, material tolerances, and project-specific requirements are not automatically included.
The app is an estimating aid and does not provide structural engineering, design approval, code compliance certification, or a verified material order. Check inputs and results against drawings, specifications, supplier information, and qualified professional advice before ordering, fabricating, installing, or making safety-related decisions.
Acceptable use and availability
Do not try to access another user's jobs, bypass payment or security controls, disrupt the service, or use the app unlawfully. Access may be restricted for unpaid billing, suspected abuse, or a security investigation. Contact support if you believe access was restricted by mistake. Internet and provider interruptions can affect availability; continuous or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
Questions and changes
